How To Cook African Banana Fritters

Ingredients:
1/2 to 1 Cup Maize flour corse
6 Ripe bananas
1/2 Sugar cup or to taste
1/2 teaspoon or to taste
1/4 bicarbonate soda
Water for dipping your hands to avoid sticky hands
Cooking oil

Method:
A} Peel all bananas and mash them nicely
B} Add in sugar, salt and mix well
C} Stir maize flour bit by bit until you have a good consistency of the sticky dough or batter and then add in bicarbonate soda
D} Heat oil in a deep pan until it spatters when a drop of water is dropped it
E} Dip your hands in water first to avoid the sticky hands
F} Scoop some of the mixture and shape into flat round discs by patting flat within fingers or palm of your hands
G} Fry them in hot oil
H} Turn to cook on the all sides until light golden brown as seen in the video
I} Remove with slotted spoon to kitchen roll to absorb oil
J} Serve with warm or cold as a snack or with drinks of your choice
