Roasted Goat Very Tender And Delicious

Nyama Ya Mbuzi Ya Kuchoma Au Kuoka Laini

Serves: 6

Ingredients:

2 kg bone-in kid goat shoulder joint {well cleaned and make some cuts for the spices to get through the entire meat}
Salt to taste
1 and 1/2 tablespoons Curry powder
1 tablespoon chilli powder or to taste
1 tablespoon garam masala
1 garlic tablespoon paste clove, chopped
1 ginger tablespoon paste 400g natural yogurt
1 to 2 tablespoons lemon

For Vegetables:
3 small red onions
The whole garlic cloves {about 6 to ten, depending on the size of the garlic}
1 bell pepper cut into halves
1 Fresh chilli cunt into halves {optional}
1 big carrot peeled and sliced
5oog baby potatoes cut into halves
1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 to 2 tablespoons cooking oil

Method:
A} Mix all the spices together as seen in the video including salt
B} Rub ginger paste and garlic paste into the whole meat
C} Rub in the yogurt and lemon juice, marinade over the top and the bottom of the meat. Massage all over the goat and leave for 24 hrs in the fridge, or up to 2 days.
D} Remove goat from the fridge 30 minute or 1 hour before cooking
E} t Heat oven to 160C/140C fan/ gas 3
F} Wash and chop the baby potatoes in the middle, chop carrot, chop belle papper in the middle, peel garlic, and place all the vegetables in the mixing bowl
G} Season your vegetables with salt, black pepper and oil. Mix well
H} place all the vegetable in a roasting tray
I} roast the meat along with veg for about 1 and 1/2 then flip the meat to the other side
J} Remove all the veg expect carrots and potatoes
K} put back the meat in the over for another 1 hour, put carrots and potatoes underneath the meat to avoid the burn.
L} Check the potaotes and carrots if the are cooked. Remove them and set aside.
M}Cover the goat with s foil and cook for 1 to 2 hour or until is well cooked and tender
N} When the vegetables are cold, make sauce as seen in the video {in a sauce you can add extra salt if needed, oil and lemon juice. Blend the sauce until is smoother
O} when the meat is well cooked the remove it from the oven and put it in the serving plate and decorate as desired
P} Serve the meat with the sauce we made earlier on
Q} you can enjoy it with any kind of bread, rice or any food of your choice.
