G} In a saucepan, add all the ingredients and stir on medium heat. Stir it and try to mush it as seen the video. The date will soften and will form into dough like texture. This process and depending on the type of dates you are using might take 3 minutes to four minutes.
Now remove from the stove and let the mixture cool completely then form equal balls.

I} Put the parchment paper on a baking tray or grease a baking tray with butter and keep aside.
J} Form equal balls from the dough previously prepared
K} Roll out the date paste between your palms into ropes or sticks, set aside
L} Now take a semolina ball and and flatten it using a rolling. Roll out on the floured surface until it’s a good size, {don’t use too much flour though}.
M} Place a rolled out date rope or stick and place it in the middle and close / seal the date paste with samolina dough until nothing is showing.
N} Place the Maamoul on the greased baking sheet.
P} Bake for 20 minutes or until they are well cooked, don’t burn them. They should look light not dark brown {they should look slightly baked}
Q} Remove them from the baking tray and put them on the wire to get cold
R} When they are cold dust with confectioners’ sugar if you wish
Enjoy!
