Bhajia: Bajia za Kunde

Bhajia {Bajia za Kunde}

500 grams Black eyed peas (soaked overnight)
2 Tablespoons Coriander
1 medium Onion
Salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
Chili powder to taste {Optional}
Very… very tiny Baking powder, I will say less than 1/4 teaspoon {Optional}
Green chillies to taste
Oil for frying.

A} Wash the soaked black eyed peas and put them in a food processor.
B} Add the onion, coriander, salt, curry powder and the green chillies.
C} Blend together but do not over blend. {I personal prefer over blended}
—->> At this point is when you add your tiny of baking powder and mix well {this is optional}
D} Heat the oil in a deep frying vessel
E} Start deep frying them when the oil is nice and hot
F} Simply take some of the mixture and make a medium size ball shape and then drop it in the hot.
G} Repeat this until you have a vessel full of bhajis.
H} Turn the bhajias around so they cook both sides.
I} Take them out of the oil when they golden brown and cooked inside. {If you want taste one to see if it’s well cooked
J} Drain them on a paper towel and serve them with chutneys.
