Kaimati /Lugaimat With Sesame Seeds { Sweet Dumplings}

1 cup plain flour
1 cup yogurt plus 4 tablespoons warm water
1 tablespoon butter
1 and 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 Sesame seeds
Oil for frying

Sugar Syrup:


1 cup sugar
1/2 cup warm water
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon powdered cardamom

A} Boil syrup and put it aside, allow it to gets cool completely
B} Mix the flour with all the above ingredients EXCEPT the SYRUP
C} kneed / beat thoroughly with your hand. It should be thick enough for you to be able to pick without it running down between your fingers, but not so thick that its dough
D} Cover and let it rise for about an hour
E} Touch some oil with your fingertips and mix the mixture again
F} Heat oil
G} Pick small portions and drop in the hot oil, then immediately lower the heat and fry on very low heat
H} Stir the sweet dumplings continuously so that they should have the same colour on all sides and get crunchy
I} From heat place directly into the cooled sugar syrup
J} Put them in the serving plate and sprinkle sesame seeds
Serve and enjoy!
