Homemade Chicken Seekh Kebabs

Chicken Seekh Kabab

500 gms Minced Chicken
3/4 teaspoon Garam Masala
1 egg 1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon garlic paste Green chillies to taste
1 small, finely chopped Onions
Chilli powder to taste
Salt to taste
1 tsp Black Pepper
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder or fresh coriander to taste
1/2 teaspoon Cumin Powder
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

A} Wash the mince and put in a strainer and gently press to squeeze out all the water
B} Mix all the ingredients to the mince and knead well
C} Keep in the fridge for 1 hour or more
D} Heat a gas oven or an electric oven with the skewers {if you have steel skewers and this is so much easy to work with}. If you don’t have steal skewers then washed wooden skewers
E}Take a big ball of the mixture and hold a hot skewer carefully in the other hand
G} Press the mince on to a hot skewer or wooden skewer {cold}
H} The mince will immediately stick to the hot skewer, but you are going to struggle if you are using wooden ones {lol}
I} Repeat with left over mince on all the other skewers
J} Place the skewers in the oven
K} Keep rotating the skewers occasionally
L} When cooked, gently remove the kebabs from the skewers with the help of a napkin. Unfortunately I didn’t remove mine when this pic was taken lol {I removed them afterwards}
M} Serve with any of your favourite chutney while still hot / warm
