Oreo Stuffed Cookies

Vileja Vya Oreo

400g plain flour

200g Butter {unsalted}

200g caster sugar

2 packs of Oreo biscuits

1 egg

3/4 to 1 teaspoon baking powder

A} I lined up two baking trays with the parchment papers

B} Cream together the butter and sugar with an electric whisk until creamy

C} Add the egg and stir until combined

D} Add the flour, baking powder and mix on a low speed until the dough is formed

E} Add flour bit by bit if needed, but don’t make your dough too firm.

F} Gather and wrap in a cling film. Chill for 20 minutes.

G} Pre-Heat the over 180

H} Grease your hands, now roll a small dough, then flat it between your palm of hands to form the base of your cookie {you are going to place this on the bottom of Oreo biscuit} as seen in the video

I} Now add Oreo biscuits in the middle

J} Roll and flat another small dough and place on top of an Oreo biscuit

K} Seal edges together by pressing around while shaping it nicely until Oreo cookie / biscuit is enclosed with the dough

L} Using the tines of a fork, press all around the cookie and then press on top of cookie to make a decorative pattern.

M} Use a fork to poke the holes in the middle / top of the cookie, as seen in the video

You can use a fork to seal more edges and create random lines on top of cookies

If you have maamoul mold, then use it as seen in the video

N} Place onto a parchment or silpat lined baking sheet, I’ll admit these cookies will expand pretty big so try not to put them too close together

O} Repeat this process until you have used everything —> cookie dough and Oreo biscuits

P} Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown

Q} Leave to cool on rack wires

The ones have more definitions are made by hands and the ones are looking neat are made by maamoul mold
