Deep Fried And Crispy King Prawns: Kamba Wa Kukaanga


1 kilo king Prawns
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 Teaspoon ginger paste
1 Chilli powder or to taste
1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
1 teaspoon lemon juice or to taste
Enough cooking oil for deep frying

A} Clean and wash the prawns
B} Place the prawns in a mix bowl.
C} Marinate the prawns with all the ingredients and mix well. Cover the bowl and place it in the fridge over night or at least not less than 2 hours

D} Place a large pan on medium flame and add enough cooking oil to deep fry the prawns. Once hot, add the prawns and fry for about 3 minutes. Flip the prawns and fry again for 3 minutes. Repeat till the prawns turn golden brown and crispy.
E} Serve as a starter or a side dish with any sauce and salad of your choice
