Delicious Sausage and Vegetable Rice

Serves 2 people {If you want more then please feel free to double the recipe}

1 cup of Rice {washed and drained}
6 Sausages
2 to 2 1/2 teaspoons Mixed spices of rice
1/2 cup Peas
1/4 cup Carrots
1/4 to 1/2 cup of Red and green bell peppers
Fresh chillies to taste {optional}
1 teaspoon Ginger and garlic paste {mixed}
1/2 or to taste Onion
Whole Cloves to taste
1 teaspoon Whole cumin seeds
Salt to taste
2 table spoons of cooking oil or to taste
Boiled water enough to cook the rice

For Sausages:
6 sausages
Fry first and then chop/slice them into pieces
Set aside

Method for Rice:
A} In a pot, add oil and sauté the onion, ginger/garlic paste and stir well.
B} Add the spices, salt, cloves and all vegetables, continue cooking and make sure you stir nicely.
D} Now add rice and stir, and then add boiling water, let it come to a boil. Stir it thoroughly
E} Cook until the rice is cooked to your perfection (if you like it a bit mushy or with single strands of grain) and make sure the liquid has reduced. If the rice is ready and there is still some liquid left, you can drain away the liquid and if more water is needed then add water as needed. Stir as liquid is been added.
G} Cover the pot with an airtight lid and continue cooking over low heat for ten or few minutes on low heat
H} all the moisture should be absorbed by rice and now add hot sliced sausages.
I} Serve your rice while still hot, you can serve it with your favourite salad
