Egg Caramel Pudding Recipe Without Oven

Ingredients for Pudding

For syrup:
1/2 Cup sugar (castor)

You also need:
4 eggs (at room temperature)
2 Tablespoons of sugar
2 Cups Milk (fresh whole milk)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder (optional)

Method:
A} Place a pot on a medium heat stove
B} Add sugar cook to get a caramel syrup, stir it continues until you get the desired colour
C} Remove from the stove, spread it nicely in the pot and let it cool for about 5 minutes.
D} Mix all these ingredients together, nicely. You can use blender or just mix them in a mixing bowl as seen in the video
E} Pour the mixture over the cooled caramel
F} Cover the pot very well with a foil paper and a tight lid.
G} In big pot {bigger that caramel / pudding pot} add some water and place it on a full heat stove.
H} Next place the covered pudding pot and place it into the big pot with water and cook.
I] Cook for about 45 to an hour
J} Carefully uncover the pot check to see if it is ready and use toothpick, insert it into the centre of the pudding, it should come out clean, not dripping egg or milk as seen in the video
K} Remove the pot and turn off the stove.
L} Let is set aside for about 30 minute to 1 hour or until the pot is completely cold and ready to go into the fridge
M} Place it in the fridge for about 2 to 4 hours, you will see it is firm
N] After an hour to 6 hours, gently separate the pudding sides from the pot using thin sharp knife
O} Take a flat serving plate and place it over the pot, serving part of the plate should be facing the pudding and flip the pudding into the plate.

P} Place the pudding back into the fridge until ready to be eaten.
