Homemade Simple And Easy Paella Fried Rice

Today i am taking you to Spain; this is one of the famous, beautiful and yummy dishes that you will find in every corner of Spain. I guess you will absolutely love it!

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 – 3 lamb or beef sausages {sliced}
1 onion, sliced
1 garlic clove, chopped
½ tsp turmeric
600g cooked plain rice
200g frozen cooked prawns
100g frozen peas or green beans {chopped into small pieces}
1 fresh chili or to taste {use chili if u like it hot and this is optional}
Lemon wedges, to serve

A} Heat oil in a frying pan
B} Add in the sliced sausages, onion and garlic, then cook for a couple of minutes until softened.
C} Stir through turmeric, followed by the rice, prawns and peas and 150ml boiling water.
D} Keep stirring until everything is warmed through
E} Let it cook until the water has been absorbed and the rice is well cooked.
Serve with lemon wedges and salad {optional}

  2. Your comment…nice job,,, but pls I need to know,,, because almost all d recipes I have seeing here are without maggi cube,,,,, does it mean that this dishes can be prepared without maggi cubes and salt??? pls I need to know….tnx

    • Hi, yes dear most of food or curries you can cook them without maggi cubes as long as you have enough spices in your kitchen, but if you like the cubes that much, then you can add them in your dishes. As for me i am not a big fan of maggi cubes that’s why you haven’t seen them in any of my recipes. Please feel free to add them in my recipes if you decided to try them out. It’s a must to cook your meals with salt, hope that helps
