Dough for Pizza
Plain Flour 2 ½
Oil 6 Tablespoons
Salt pinch OR to your taste
Yeast 2 teaspoons
Warm Water Just estimate
METHOD:
A} Mix all the dry ingredients and the oil expect warm water at this moment
B} Add warm water little by time until the dough will start to be formed
TIP: The softer dough is the better
C} Knead the dough very well for at least 10 minutes
D} Add a touch of oil to the dough
E} Roll it out to around shape as pizza and place on your greased or non- stick pizza pan/trayTIP: Please don’t make it too fat, let’s say make a medium size coz is going to rise
F} Place it somewhere warm, leave it to rise to double its size
Tomato Sauce
Tomatoes 2-3
Green chilli to your taste
Onion to taste and finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon tomato puree
Salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon Garam masala
Chilli powder to taste {if you don’t likeit hot then don’t add chili powder}
Method
A} Blend tomatoes
B} Heat 1 or less tablespoon of oil in a pan
C} Add garlic and garlic paste
D} 1 tablespoon tomato puree
E} Add salt, garam masala, green chilies and salt to your taste {if you don’t like it hot then don’t add chili powder}
F} When is cooked for few minutes, add the blended tomatoes and simmer to get thicker
TIP: Let it simmer till it gets thicker and all the water is gone
Mozzarella Cheese
Grate cheese and put it asideHow to layer Pizza
TIP: you do this when the dough is rise on the pizza/baking tray
Dough first on the tray, tomato sauce and finally grated cheese
When ready to cook, pre- heat the oven to 240C/220C fan/gas 9
Bake for 12 minutes or until golden and crisp and the tomatoes are starting to caramelise around the edges.
