Ingredients:
3 {600g – 700 g} Chicken breast (skinless and boneless)
1 Teaspoon Garam powder
1/2 to 1 curry powder teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 Teaspoon cumin seed powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
3/4 mixed bell peppers { capsicum} colour of your choice
2 carrots midium (peeled and grated)
1 red small onion
1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 Teaspoon of chilli powder or to taste
4 to 5 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
Salt to taste
Cooking oil for frying
Method:
A} Wash and chop the chicken into small bite cubes
B} Put the chicken in a pot
C} Add salt, 1/2 teaspoon ginger, 1/2 teaspoon garlic, garam masala, chilli powder and enough water
D} Cook until the chicken is tender or well cooked
E} Remove from the stove and dry all water from the pot. Set aside and allow it to cool
F} Put the chicken, 1/2 teaspoon ginger, 1/2 teaspoon garlic, lemon juice, chopped coriander, eggs, fresh chopped chilli to taste and optional, cumin seed powder, the carrots, onion and bell pepper in a food processor
F} Blend until smooth.
G} Add baking powder and blend briefly just until everything is well mixed.
H} Adjust salt to your taste {Add some if needed}
I} Put some oil in your aebleskiver pan or any tiny karai and heat it up
J} Add the chicken mixture using a spoon into your pan and fry the balls / vitumbua, first on one side and then turn it over to do the other side until golden on both sides.
Serve warm with any sauce or salad of your choice
